Step 1: Install the app from the Google Play store for Android or the iOS app store.

Make sure your mobile device is plugged into the router. If not, you might be unable to connect the smart plug to WiFi. During the connection process, ensure the smart socket's status LED light is blinking green. This indicates your smart plug is prepared to establish a WiFi connection. Press and hold the on/off button until the light flickers green, then let go. An effective connection will result in a solid green LED status light.
Move the smart plug toward your router if you still have difficulties connecting to WiFi. Once you've established a connection, you can return the smart plug to its previous position. Before shifting the smart plug, ensure the status light is solid green.
To avoid problems during setup and while using your smart plug, ensure your tablet or smartphone runs iOS 7.0 and Android 4.1 or higher.
