How to Setup D-Link Wireless Range Extender?

The following are a few of the procedures to Setup D-Link wireless range extender:

Step to Setup D-Link Wireless Range Extender

Step 1: Your Dlink Wi-Fi range extender should be connected to a wall outlet. Nevertheless, the extender must be within your router's coverage area.

Step 2: Turn on the wireless software on your PC and choose the name of your D-Link router network. Setup D link n300 wifi range extender. The password must then be entered following that. Your wifi setup card contains the network name and the password.

Step 3: Open your web browser, then type linkup.local into the address box. Additionally, you can type the IP address 192.168.0.50 within the address bar.

Step 4: The login screen for the D-link n300 wifi range extender is now open right in front of you, and you must enter either the username or the password. Fill in the username area with "admin" and leave the password field blank. Now click log in & press enter.

Step 5: Click the setup wizard by going there.

Step 6: Select Next to set up the D-link N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender.

Step 7: Select the second option on the wizard's setup menu to configure your network manually.

Step 8: Select your uplink wireless network by clicking the link. Press select once you've chosen the uplink connection you want to utilize.

Step 9: Select next, enter the password for the uplink network, followed by a click.

Step 10: Your D-Link router will rebroadcast the wireless connection to the uplink router as an expanded wireless network, allowing you to configure the D-Link n300 wifi range extender. A 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz network will establish a password and network name.

It will help if you input the password and network name you'd like to use for your extended wireless network to change these settings. Next must be clicked to proceed.

Step 11:  The setup process is now finished. The extended wireless network and uplink router settings will appear on a new summary page. You should keep a record of this information. Save by clicking.

When the connection over your wireless extender and uplink router works properly, a green checkmark appears among those two devices.
